We’re seeking a full-time intake specialist to join our team. This is a job with heavy client contact and high use of technology such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Gmail. The intake specialist will assist in a wide variety of activities, including screening of callers for eligibility and type of case, referring callers appropriately, assisting with community outreach and education, providing interpretation and translation services on occasion for attorneys, and entering client data in the case management system.
Experience in a legal and/or nonprofit workplace preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English required.
Pay for this position begins at $32,000 annually.
We are seeking a full-time staff attorney to join our legal team. We represent kin relations seeking guardianship for the children in their care, Indian children in foster care, and children in need of services on several Pueblos. This job also involves policy work to improve the lives of Children in New Mexico.
Must be licensed in New Mexico or eligible for a limited practice license. Must have demonstrated interest in working on behalf of children and youth, excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Pay for this position begins at $45,000 – $50,000 annually depending on experience.
