Andres G. Aviles (him, his, he) is a Social Work Intern that helps clients access community and state resources available to them. Andres came to New Mexico from Virginia in June of 2020 after retiring from the U.S. Army. He then started his Master’s Degree in Social Work in August 2020. He has done advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community within the military. Andres is also very interested in Social Justice and advocacy. Andres habla español.
Staci Bostic-Baros (she/her, they/them) is a Social Work Intern from the New Mexico Highlands University Facundo Valdez School of Social Work. Staci has thirteen years of experience working in education, special education, and disability services. Staci is a proud mother and fourth generation Albuquerque native. Staci is committed to advocacy and social justice and equality for all New Mexicans.
Imelda Martinez (she/her) is a student at New Mexico Highlands University, and is currently a senior working on her bachelor’s degree in social work. Imelda is a proud mother of two young men. Imelda is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has over twelve years work experience in healthcare and customer service.
